Getting 'Out Of Memory' error in Jmeter for 2 Citrix users #74

Description

@Madeppa

Hi Team,

Increased the Jmeter heap size to 1330 MB, as this is the max memory allowing to me to increase in 32 bit Java.

I created Jmeter Citrix script, executed with one user for 2 hours with multiple iterations. It worked fine with no errors and it consumed around 1235 MB memory.

Below is the memory consumption for every 5 minutes into the test with one user:

Test in Minutes | Jmeter Memory Consumption in MB
1 | 215.0
5 | 1060.7
10 | 1069.4
15 | 1069.4
20 | 1107.4
25 | 1110.4
30 | 1110.4
35 | 1171.9
40 | 1168.1
45 | 1168.1
50 | 1207.5
55 | 1206.9
60 | 1207.0
65 | 1220.6
70 | 1219.7
75 | 1219.6
80 | 1225.8
85 | 1225.9
90 | 1226.0
95 | 1228.9
100 | 1228.9
105 | 1228.2
110 | 1233.2
115 | 1233.1
120 | 1234
125 | 1234.7
130 | 1234.6
135 | 1235.4

However, when we increased the number of users to two, then getting the 'Out Of Memory' error at around 6 minutes into the test.

Below is the memory consumption for every 5 minutes with two users:
Test in Minutes | Jmeter Memory Consumed in MB
1 | 52
5 | 1196.6
6 | 1323.3 --> Here we got the 'Out Of Memory' error in Jmeter

Please let us know how to proceed the load test with multiple users. Our requirement is to test with 200+ Citrix users.

Any response/suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards,
Madeppa
