What's the purpose of shaderFile_L.placebo ? #280

For the most part, the "placebo" files have an obvious purpose, being that they're simple text files that describe what they're there for. However, I noticed that shaderFile_1/shaderFile_L.placebo is much different from the rest. It's in fact a disguised ZIP archive containing a bunch of text files with numbers for names, containing just strings of hexadecimal byte values. The fact that it was recently updated suggests it's more than just a "placebo" as well.

Luckily I quickly worked out that it just contains bible verses, though with some corruption and even a strange imgur link I've not bothered checking in one of the files. For the most part I'm willing to believe that it truly is a "placebo", but anybody browsing the contents of the shader pack would be justifiably suspicious of a surprise ZIP file like this. And even having worked out the contents it's still puzzling why you'd bother when you've already got the simpler text files. (I also question the need for any of these "placebos" at all, but that's a separate issue I suppose.)

Point is, if this weird extra-complicated "placebo" is truly necessary, there needs to be an explanation of what it is to go with it. Because anybody who doesn't happen to catch the ASCII-ish nature of the data might conclude that this shader is trying to do something nefarious.
