Implement client-level reminders per calendar

Feature description

Have notification go off for an event type similar to how thunderbird will send a notification globally for all events. Suggest UI would be drop down menu, possible in manage event type, that pushes a notification X number of minutes (including zero) before an event in an event type happen. I would recommend snooze feature for the event type notification

Why do you want this feature?

To save the effort of having to manually add notifications to all the events in an event type that I care about. Also I could just move events/tasks out of that event type of they're not important to me. Thanks for your consideration ☺️

You can already change the default reminders for new events for all calendars.

Do you want to set default reminders per calendar or bulk update reminder settings for all existing events for a given calendar?

Ok, I think I understand it now. Thunderbird supports both client-level reminders and event-level reminders. Client-level reminders can be set up per-calendar or globally, and they enable notifications for all events, even if those events don't have any reminders set.

In Google Calendar, the notification preference only affects new events, but for shared calendars, the same(ish) preference enables client-level notifications for all events in that shared calendar, similar to Thunderbird.

i can see that 236 is similar since those .ics files can be imported as an event type or into an event type. i couldn't get google calendar to export reminders in the .ics files and I'm trying to avoid syncing with google calendar.

yeah the global thunderbird notifications but for an event type in fossify calendar is just the best way for me to articulate it. i guess i want a system where events can be moved to different event types based on urgency, if I don't want to miss it i put it in an event type with 7 notifications and snooze buttons, and event types that does a silent notification when the event starts.
