Language stuck on Spanish even when English or System default (English) are selected

Steps to reproduce the bug

I simply installed the app and started using it, and a few minutes later realized that almost all of the text had somehow turned to Spanish. When I went to check language settings, it still said "System default (English)". I changed it to straight up "English" and all of the text turned Spanish. I'm just lucky I do speak Spanish 😭
