Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Normal user behavior.
  2. Check repeatedly to see if the bug has occurred.

Expected behavior

No Ghost / Rendering Effects

Actual behavior

ghost/duplicate rendering artifact:

The content of my home screen (widgets only) appears as an artifact in the background even when I switch to other screens (which have additional widgets and launcher icons). Strangely enough, it always appears twice, along with the current launcher content.

Stopping the Laucher app temporarily fixes the problem.

But it keeps happening.

I'd say it happens every few days, and it's been going on for months.

Additional information

I've granted all the app permissions I'm aware of; the app is allowed to run in the background.
