ATs are intentionally bulky and somewhat cumbersome because the intended downside of laser power transmission is that you have to plan out your base more carefully. In GTNH endgame, this construct starts to break down, because bases are massive and lasers go directly into machines (which is its own poor design decision for numerous reasons), hence the inclusion of the mirrors and eventually truly wireless power to keep things manageable.

If a mirror was to be added, it would have endgame for balancing reasons, and there isn't nearly enough endgame content or need for scale to make such an inclusion make sense.

I hate to rain on both of your parades, but the laser mirror for CEu was done within half a day of GTNH releasing it, and has been sitting on an (admittedly huge) unmerged branch ever since.

Personally, i don't see something like this existing in base CEu, but it could be in an addon instead

Oh yeah, I remember you working on that. Didn't you want the recipe to include like 20 repeated stages of doing the same thing to the same item with updated NBT lol or am I misremembering

That aside, I'm not diametrically opposed to the existence of a mirror, though I do think it defeats the purpose of the laser mechanic, and it's also just not needed with how little CEu currently scales
