Support for workspaces?

It seems like I'm not the only one with questions about how to use workspaces that aren't really explained by the documentation, so it would be nice to be able to just construct a fully functional example with this package — maybe via an option.

Doing that would require someone who understands workspaces well to write a plugin.
I certainly do not.
