Tanuri is a modern platform redefining the commerce around LPG gas ordering.
Our mission is to simplify how people order, manage, and receive LPG gas through a transparent, efficient, and digital-first approach.
Before setting up the project, ensure you have the following installed:
- Bun – JavaScript runtime and package manager
- Python 3+ – Required for backend scripts and dependencies
- Java 17 – Required for building Android apps
- ADB (Android Debug Bridge) – For testing and debugging Android applications
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/Karume-lab/tanuri.git
cd tanuriInstall dependencies at the root using Bun:
bun iAfter installation, you can start development for different parts of the project. Further setup and run instructions are available in the respective READMEs listed below.
A ready-to-use development environment is already included in the repository, so no manual configuration is required to run the project locally.
For reference or customization, each subproject (backend, mobile, website)
contains a .env.dist file that outlines the expected environment variables.
Role: Research Focused on gathering insights, analyzing market needs, and validating ideas to ensure our solutions deliver real-world value.
Role: Developer – Backend, Mobile, Frontend Full-stack engineer building secure backend systems, smooth mobile apps, and high-performance web experiences. Led initial setup, backend and landing page development, mobile integration, and monorepo configuration.
