Alphebet can be triggered when interacting with a full width widget

Describe the bug

When a widget is set to fill the screen, it can be impossible to perform certain interactions with it because the alphabet will engage.

Steps to reproduce

1. Add a widget and set it to fill screen. Ex: Google tasks
2. In my example of Google tasks, try adding a task. (button on the top right)
3. Observe the sidebar alphabet engaging when you're instead wanting to interact with the widget.

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?

It would be nice if we could configure the trigger area for the alphabet column or even disable it completely.

My current workaround is to add that widget inside the swipe menu of an app on the homescreen, that way I can at least tap the button to the far right.

I have the same issue.
Will be great to reduce the area where the alphabet can be triggered, when the widget is in full width, in the way to not interaction with widget
