Is it possible to change a PN Adapter Port?

What restrictions does this have on the possible PN cycle times?
Limitations in possible timings?
Limitations by setting IP via DCP?

e.g.:

Setup Profinet Controller and Device.
-i   : Enable PN Device and Controller Disable/Enable settings
-p true   : Enable Profinet Device -p true 
-d X : Set Profinet Device Port
