Inclusion criteria #147

Description

@ArtPoon

What qualifies as a sufficient number of publicly available full-length genomes? How much divergence is sufficient for inclusion?

In the Methods section, one of our inclusion criteria was the availability of "at least 100 complete or near-complete genome sequences". The exact cutoff is somewhat arbitrary. It is very likely that 10 genomes will not be sufficient. Going by orders of magnitude, 100 seems like a sensible requirement.

The required amount of divergence (measured by tree length) was determined by simulation analysis, e.g., Supplementary Figure S1.
