About Obsidian 1.9

Obsidian 1.9 has been released to insiders.

Unfortunately, they introduced a bug related to PDF text selection that prevents Obsidian from recognizing text selection ranges properly. This bug is also affecting PDF++ (#449).

(To be clear, this is NOT that the new version of Obsidian has broken compatibility with PDF++; rather, this is a new bug that affects Obsidian’s own core PDF functionality.)

I've already submitted a bug report on the forum.
I hope the Obsidian team can fix it soon, but I will try to patch it from PDF++'s code, too.

• Update: PDF++ 0.40.30 includes a workaround to mitigate this problem.
