Can I export "slection links" in markdown files via Pandoc.

I would like to output a Markdown file that embeds a PDF using the "Copy embed link to rectangle selection" function via Pandoc. Is this possible?
For example, I would like to be able to replace the link using that function with an image. Is it possible to implement such a function?

I'm sorry, this feature is not available for now. However I do plan to add it in the near future as it's a very much requested feature (#267, #434, etc.).

For now, you can manually convert a rectangular selection by following:

1. right-click the area
2. select "Copy as image"
3. paste it in your note

Another way is to enable PDF++ settings > Rectangular selection embeds → Paste as image and redo selections (which is obviously tedious...)
