I can't use pdf++(obsidian's version is 1.8.10)

Why I can't use pdf++ to open pdf，my Obsidian's version is 1.8.10，I have already install the pdf++(0.40.30)。I also try to use the history version obsiaidn(1.4，1.8.4）,but all of them still workless.So what should I do to solve this problem

• what exactly do you mean by "I can't use pdf++ to open pdf"? If you have difficulty explaining it in words, some screen recordings will help/
• Run the "PDF++: Copy debug info" and paste the result. It contains a lot of information that will help debugging.

I can't sure what cause this problem
I have already use the history Obsidian,it can't open the file also.
I just want to make notes on pdf in Obsidian,but I can't open any pdf files in Obsidian.
Just now, after I closed obsidian,when I open obsidian again,I can view pdf.
what a strange problem it is.
I couldn't open the pdf file immediately after installing PDF++. But when I restarted the software, everything was fine. I conducted tests in a virtual machine with Obsidian version 1.8.4 installed. All of them couldn't be used immediately after installation, but they could be used after restarting the software.

I had a very similar problem that the PDF run normally without the plugin, but turned into a completely white page after enabling the plugin. It turned out that the problem was caused by not enabling the style setting plugin. Problem was fixed immediately after the style plugin was turned on.

Hi, PDF++ is expected to work with OR WITHOUT the Style Settings plugin (in other words, Style Settings is optional), so it can be a bug if PDF++ doesn't work without it. Would you mind pasting the result of the "PDF++: Copy debug info" command here so that I can look into it?

Hi, thanks for clarifying. You're right. The issue doesn't seem to be caused by the Style Settings plugin. I noticed that when switching between tabs in Obsidian, the PDF fails to render again after returning to it. I am using a Lazy Plugin Loader, which turns some plugins on after a short delay. The bug occurs after certain plugins have been enabled (before that, when I just reload Obisidian, PDF rendering works fine, even when switching between tabs).

I think the problem that causes my issue may be the plugin conflict. I had somehow installed another PDF plugin, Annotator v0.2.11, a while ago, and let Lazy Plugin Loader enable it after a short delay. Since disabling it, the bug has disappeared, and everything works fine for me now.

@JaxonZ2003 Thanks for the info! I'm glad to hear the issue has gone :) I'm not sure Annotator could cause conflicts with PDF++ but I'll look into it.
