An error occurs when building on an actual Android device

Is this plugin only available up to React: 16.8.1? My project is 18.2 and when I run it on android I get a gradle version error.

I'm not fully sure, we are way behind on our own project with the RN version.

We are currently rewriting it fully. Timeline is still unknown but it's still 'maintained'
