Moving to python3

Hi, and thanks for the job done with this tool : I use it a lot!
I am a python3 only fresh developer and moving this project to python3 could be a nice candidate for my first migration 2 to 3 attempt.
Before trying, could you tell me if something had to be considered before attempting migration?

Hi, I'm glad to hear someone is still using this and finds it useful!

I agree that this would be a simple enough project for your first time migrating to python3. There are no issues that I can foresee, but of course it has been ten years since I wrote this code, so I don't remember it well.
