Improve logging/warnings

Summary

Extend the messaging mechanism informing about noteworthy events occuring at runtime (e.g. Filippov sliding mode chattering being detected):

• Ability to toggle certain messages on/off
• Control the output format (e.g. print to command window or write to file)
