com.android.dialer and Free Notifications

Should this allow control of dialer notifications? They are still greyed out.

Does anyone knows how to achieve this?

You might not be able to turn them off as a whole, but all the individual categories.
Can you send a screenshot and a description of your device (manufacturer, ROM)?

Yes thank you binarynoise.

It's mainly this channel for incoming calls and the 'pop up on screen' switch. Because this causes the phone to wake up if a call is caught and dropped by SpamBlocker.

This is LOS 17.1 on a Sony device.

I believe these noti's are greyed because the dialer is a system/priv app. Is your module specific to the 'recommended' scope in lsposed?

Selecting additional apps other than the recommended scope is not necessary.

I have reproduced the issue on a LineageOS 17.1 device.

Oh no @programminghoch10 / @binarynoise it doesn't work. I had to receive an incoming call to notice. The notification switches are available to change now, they're not greyed out. But they don't actually remain set if you change them. they immediately change back.

I can use an alternative, open source dialer and set that as the default to be able to change this so it's not a big problem. Except for missing features like call recording.

I guess I could also convert the fully features built in dialer to a user app as well.

The notification switches are available to change now, they're not greyed out. But they don't actually remain set if you change them. they immediately change back.

I have reproduced this behaviour, we will take another look at it.
