Keyer and Mapper for custom model does not work?

I'm trying out Coil for a use-case in my app. An image on the backend can change, but url remains the same. Instead a check_sum value changes.

I have the following model:

data class Image(
    val url: String,
    val checkSum: String
) 

I've added a custom Mapper and Keyer for this model.

class ImageKeyer : Keyer<Image, String> {

    override fun key(data: Image, options: Options): String? {
        return data.url + ":" + data.checkSum
    }

}

I've added these to ImageBuilder:

return ImageLoader.Builder(this)
            .components {
                add(ImageKeyer())
                add(ImageMapper())
            }
            .build()

However, when checksum changes, previously cached image is loaded. Am I doing something wrong? Should I use Fetcher instead?
