while increasing the number of non-linking purposes for which they process the indexed content, such as generative AI.
ISTM Arc AI, Bing Chat and Google's AI experiments even in search interfaces are even removing search here and forcing those organizations to look for different incomes too. Feels like we could say even more there since it seems to me one of the main 3-4 biggest risk factors that can majorly upend the existing model (in addition to lots of other challengeswith it maybe)... But maybe that is also an opportunity to rethink it.
