Thank you for reporting this. Espressif-IDE is designed to be a minimalistic IDE, so we’ve removed many default plugins and do not include general update sites such as Eclipse SimRel Latest (https://download.eclipse.org/releases/latest/). This helps prevent accidental updates of IDE dependencies to incompatible or breaking versions.

However, you can easily install any missing plugins, including the Eclipse Marketplace. To do this, go to Help → Install New Software, paste the update site URL (https://download.eclipse.org/releases/latest/) into the “Work with” field, and then type “market” in the filter box to find the Marketplace plugin. After installing it and restarting the IDE, the Marketplace will appear.
