I opened a focused PR for one carbon/performance slice from this issue: #627 adds native loading="lazy" and decoding="async" to the shared project-logo image component.

Validation on the PR branch: pnpm build passes, and the generated page has all 152 project logos carrying loading="lazy", decoding="async", and the existing explicit width/height attributes.

Small update on #627: I expanded the same focused image PR to also replace the generic project-logo alt text with project-specific alt text. The branch still only touches src/components/ProjectCard.astro and keeps the lazy loading / async decoding change.
