Exclude examples from the package #63
Description
Currently, the examples in examples are packages into the library when built. From our point of view, these are not necessarily part of the library - they are useful as documentation, but not for functionality. We plan to exclude the examples from the built package going forward, but keep them in the repository as example code.
@lfse-slafleur You originally wrote the example that's currently in there - do you have any thoughts on this? Are we fine to exclude them from the package, or is it better to keep it?
