Hmm.. might help to take a look at how Narwhal does it? They seem to bundle a Safari extension with the app?

Yes. The extension is bundled in Infinity, just like how Narwhal does it.

Is there a way to currently use a userscript to open the link in infinity? Like what is the url infinity:// or infinityredirect:// ?

Hi, the update is finally approved by Apple. You should be able to download the update and use the Safari extension directly.
