config files.

"go get" makes an executable in a different dir to the config files, so you need to combine or use the command line option to specify the configs location, you don not seem to be able to just run it with " $GOPATH/bin/ftpd"

the config files do not contain "custom.ini" and ftpd aborts if its not there.

clients.

using browsers as clients shows chromium working but firefox failing, (server/client on the same machine). log shows firefox initiates "enter passive mode", where chromium "enter extended passive mode", seems to be the point of failure but i haven’t investigated.

shutting down the server.

go get github.com/goftp/ftpd and you can cd $GOPATH/src/github.com/goftp/ftpd and go build and run it.

I haven't tested firefox, maybe a bug.
