Docker Swarm Template / Pre-existing Docker Images

I am looking into building a HA postgres solution based on this https://gist.github.com/nicosingh/9583fe487bddf853c38a5b8c9db2cf7a and Docker Swarm (for its simplicity).

In order to do this, I obviously need a Docker image. I have not found any existing ones that include pg_auto_failover, so I wondered if there was work already done on building a production ready pg_auto_failover Docker image.

Does someone know of any existing work being done in this direction?

Right now this is only based on docker-compose and the Dockerfiles are not perfect, but this looks promising.

Updates on this:

This is looking really promising. Also, using docker might actually be a blessing for operating the cluster as I feel major version upgrade tooling will be simpler to build and semi-automate.

We just moved away from relying on package manager versions of pg_auto_failover. This should help keeping things in sync with this main repo better :)

Even if you don't need the swarm part, I feel this image can be a good starting point for anyone that wants to build a pgaf solution around containers.
