shadsn-svelte not triggering dropdown or modal after page navigation and back

I am currently experiencing an issue with shadcn-svelte, I have a dropdown and a modal that is triggered onclick and by a button respectively, If i navigate out of the page and go back using anchor links the dropdown stops to work and same with the modal...

apparently this is caused by using a top level await within the script tag of my page resulting to a hydration mismatch.

    let details = $state(await getPokemonDetails())

removing that fixed the issue for me
