Remote Function and async Svelte messing with open state of dropdown

In my svelte 5 application using experimental remote functions and async svelte, i got troubles with the open state of any dropdown component after navigating to other pages (see video):

After navigation, the dropdown unintentionally opens, and an outside click to close does not work. It does not only happen in the sidebar, but also in standalone select components. It can only be resolved by reloading the page itself. I am not using remote functions to query page data, only for forms (which are not loaded on this page visible on the site).

However if i set data-sveltekit-preload-data="hover" in app.html to false, the issue is solved (source).

I am not sure if it is a bug, because remote functions are still experimental.

Yesss thank you!! I wasn't able to reproduce this when I tried to bring it up. Find my issue on the Svelte repo and please drop this in there so they have a way of reproducing this is a bug with async Svelte. One thing that might help you as well is that it only happens with experimental async and not with remote functions alone :)
