Well, based on what you've shown, my mods should work. You really cant "fry" anything if you're careful. and the stove will work just fine w/out the wifi module installed. Jeff |

I do, I think I have 1 or 2 left. what might be cheaper than me shipping from the USA is to upload the Gerbers and order them from JLCPCB. You'e get 5 for $5 and cheap shipping from china. |

Somehow, no idea how, I stumbled across this and you got me excited. I live in Australia and this type of wifi controller is sold in the local pellet heaters we have here. These pellet heaters come from China and use the "Smart Stove" app to control them. Like another thread here, this is my journey from complete wtf is this to hopefully flashing and not frying anything. Bought myself a CH340G and will begin going down the rabbit hole to see what I manage to fry. Ultimately aiming for the D1 mini because well I can? Again, seriously thank you for this. Seems amazing and I love tweaking stuff. Pics below:
