Undefined method addToolbar() in Joomla 4.4

Steps to reproduce the issue

• Install Joomla 4.4 dev branch with ‎4.4.14-dev
• Install com_patchtester_4.4.0.tar.bz2
• Try to open the Patch Tester component administrator/index.php?option=com_patchtester&view=pulls

Expected result

• Patch Tester is working in Joomla 4.4

Actual result

500: Internal Server Error

  Uncaught Throwable of type Error thrown with message "Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Document\HtmlDocument::getToolbar()".
  Stack trace: #0 [ROOT]/administrator/components/com_patchtester/src/View/Pulls/HtmlView.php(134):
  Joomla\Component\Patchtester\Administrator\View\Pulls\HtmlView->addToolbar()

• Does Patch Tester support Joomla 4.4?
• Enabling 'Behaviour - Backward Compatibility' doesn't help

Does Patch Tester support Joomla 4.4?

Yes the Patch tester should still work on Joomla 4. The error is weird because such behavior should not break in a point release. I will have a look at it and get back to you.

for information: Patch Tester version 4.3.3 is working on 4.4-dev branch

Hi,

Unfortunately I did not get time to look further into this. Since version 4.3.3 is working fine there was no urgency either. Now Joomla 5/6 are the only supported releases I will close this issue.
