Active Journal Entry Should Update Calendar Automatically to Respective Month/Year

A small UX issue I've noticed becoming an annoyance of mine, when I open a journal entry from say 2 months ago, currently the calendar stays in todays view. Ideally it automatically updates to the currently active month/year no?

I noticed in the docs it states:

Reveal open note on calendar

If you open a note from a different month, you might want to see it on the calendar view. To do so, you can run the command Calendar: Reveal open note from the command palette.

Is the reason for this functionality – requiring user input – technically based?

Does anyone appose the idea of the calendar automatically revealing the currently active journal entry?

I raise my hand to assist in developing this if it's desirable!
Side note: have been using Svelte on a recent project of mine and digging through the source code noticed this uses it too, up the Svelte!!
