Is the forked previewgenerator needed?

I wonder what the need for the custom forked previewgenerator is. The 99.99.99 version solution feels like a hack anyways, and by now the fork is highly outdated.

Maybe the reason for forking it is obsolete by newer features added to the original previewgenerator, like specifing worker count?

Getting rid of the custom solution, if possible, would be nice, I think.

The custom version of the previewgenerator was introduced due to the upstream version dropping 32bit support some time ago.
By now, we don't really support 32bit systems anymore (because Nextcloud itself doesn't), so that's the only reason I didn't move to upstream again is the work involved and the risk for introducing errors.
However, I have no taken the time to implement it and will remove the fork with one of the next updates. :)
