Does anyone know the command to shut down a Synology? sshpass doesn't work.

I was able to use UpSnap to start my Synology DS118j which using any special configuration. I did have a problem on the Synology side though. Despite enabling WoL in the Control Panel of the Synology, I still had to ssh in to it and use ethtool to enable magic packet capability. I learned how to do that when I was also trying to get WoL to work on TrueNAS. I believe it was "ethtool -s g"
