Assalamu alaikum,
I am building SunnahAI, a local educational Arabic/English Islamic AI assistant. The goal is to help users search trusted Islamic sources and avoid inventing Quran verses, hadith text, or religious rulings.
I want to use the Sunnah.com API to access trusted hadith data for source-based lookup, especially Sahih al-Bukhari. The assistant will show hadith text with clear references instead of generating or guessing hadith content.
Current use:
Local/private development and learning project
Arabic and English educational assistant
Quran reference lookup
Hadith safety system
Bukhari book index support
Future full hadith text lookup using trusted API data
API rate limits:
Maximum requests per second: 2
Maximum requests per day: 10000
This is for local development and controlled importing into my own local database/cache. End users will not call the Sunnah.com API directly.
If possible, I would also like a temporary higher import limit later, for example 5 requests per second and 50,000 requests per day for a short time, only to import/verify hadith data. After importing, normal API usage will be low because SunnahAI will search my local cached database.
If an offline snapshot is available, that would also be useful for local development, but API access is enough for now.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
Arabic and English.
What programming language will your API client be in?
