🐛 Issue: Inconsistent Usage Limit Notifications Between Claude VS Code Extension and Claudia
📋 Description
When using the Claude Code Extension in VS Code on the Max plan, I can code for several hours without hitting usage limits. However, when switching to the Claudia app, an "approaching usage limit" notification appears almost immediately (within ~20 minutes), disrupting my workflow and preventing effective use of the app.
🔍 Steps to Reproduce
Open VS Code and use the Claude Code Extension for extended coding (e.g., a few hours).
Switch to the Claudia app and begin coding.
Observe that within approximately 20 minutes, an "approaching usage limit" notification is displayed.
🚫 Observed Behavior
The Claude Code Extension in VS Code allows prolonged coding sessions without triggering any usage limit warnings.
In Claudia, the usage limit notification appears almost immediately after minimal usage (e.g., ~20 minutes).
This issue occurs consistently, even after extended coding sessions in VS Code, indicating a potential discrepancy in usage tracking or limit enforcement between the two tools.
✅ Expected Behavior
Usage limits should be consistent across both the Claude Code Extension and Claudia on the Max plan.
The "approaching usage limit" notification should only appear after significant usage, in line with the Max plan's expected capacity.
⚠️ Impact
The rapid appearance of the usage limit notification in Claudia severely disrupts coding sessions, making the app difficult to use effectively shortly after starting.
ℹ️ Additional Notes
The issue is reproducible every time I switch from VS Code to Claudia.
The Max plan should support extended coding sessions across both tools without triggering immediate limit warnings.
No specific error codes or logs were observed in the notification, but it appears consistently after minimal activity in Claudia.
