reopening Bug: Claudia's Terminal Environment Fails to Find Commands in User PATH - macOS #197 #228

Description

@davidmoshal

see #197

OK so I solved it, in the same way that @ragusa-it did, by selecting my system claude code, not the bundled one.

However, it really should be better documented, because it's not obvious that:
a) there is a bundled version of claude code (!)
b) that this is the default version

Also with the dark ui, it's not that clear that clicking on the bundled version of claude opens the options (or the very feint down arrow)

So in my mind these are the bugs:

  1. Documentation bug: undocumented that there is a bundled version of claude, and that it is the default, and that it can be changed in the settings.

  2. ux bug: not at all clear that there are claude options unless you click on the current option (or click on a down arrow that isn't clear with the dark theme).

In general this project suffers from really poor UX, which is a pity.
