CHANGELOG

Does this branch warrant an entry to the CHANGELOG?

  • Yes
  • No

Dependencies

  • edge-currency-accountbased: Needs a separate PR to update assetDisplayName, chainDisplayName, and potentially currencyCode in coreumInfo.ts
  • CDN icon server: New TX logo assets (from Logos.zip in the Asana task) need to be uploaded to currencyIconsV3/coreum/

Description

Context

Asana: "Update coreum branding" (P2). Coreum has rebranded to TX as part of a merger with Sologenic to form a unified RWA tokenization platform. The token migrated 1:1 from COREUM to TX. This PR updates the user-facing display names in the GUI to reflect the new brand.

Changes

  • Update default wallet name from "My Coreum" to "My TX" in en_US.ts
  • Update staking display names from "Coreum Native Staking" to "TX Native Staking" in coreumNativeStaking.ts and CoreumStakeKitAdaptor.ts
  • Internal identifiers (pluginId, walletType, stakePolicyId, currencyCode) are intentionally unchanged — they match the engine-level identifiers in edge-currency-accountbased and should only change when the plugin is updated

Requirements

If you have made any visual changes to the GUI. Make sure you have:

  • Tested on iOS device
  • Tested on Android device
  • Tested on small-screen device (iPod Touch)
  • Tested on large-screen device (tablet)

Squash the changes into one commit. I've noticed this pattern is some other AI-generated PR's, where the agent puts the changelog in its own commit instead of putting it with the change itself.

Yeah I caught that earlier today, missed it in this PR. I've already fixed my workflow.
