This workflow’s primary job runs on a macOS self-hosted runner, and actions/setup-node v5+ runs on Node 24 and requires runner v2.327.1 or later (per the action’s breaking-change notes). By changing only uses: actions/setup-node@v6 here, any self-hosted runner still below that version will fail at the “Set up Node” step, which can block all CI for PRs/pushes until runner infrastructure is upgraded. Either gate this upgrade on runner version readiness or keep the previous action major until the self-hosted fleet is updated.
