This is currently blocked by our out of date eslint version. We've aligned internally that we're making the shift from eslint to oxlint/oxfmt, so rather than going through the pain of upgrading our eslint plugin to support Typescript V6, I'm planning to migrate this repo to oxlint and oxfmt, which should then unblock this PR.

Closing this for now as it is blocked by our eslint setup. Planning to migrate this repo to pnpm soon, then migrate from eslint to oxlint, then I'll upgrade to typescript v6.
