Releases: afyef/XP-App
Desktop XP App — Version 1.1.3
Release Notes — v1.1.3
What's New
-
New streaming source — An additional streaming source has been added, giving you more options when your usual one doesn't have what you're looking for.
-
Background updates — The app now updates itself in the background. You'll get a UAC prompt to confirm, then it installs silently — no setup wizard, no interruptions.
-
Auto support — The support box now opens and closes on its own.
Improvements
-
Faster video startup — Video streams load quicker thanks to connection reuse under the hood.
-
Server switcher shows all sources — The server switcher in the player now dynamically lists every available source instead of showing a hardcoded set.
Bug Fixes
-
Fixed stream loading failures on certain titles — Some titles would fail to load a stream even when one was available. This has been resolved.
-
Fixed ads closing too quickly — The auto-close on the support box was firing instantly instead of waiting the full 5 seconds.
-
Various stability improvements — Self explanatory.
Desktop XP App — Version 1.1.2
Release Notes — v1.1.2
What's New
-
Subtitle Style panel in the player — Adjust position, size, delay, text color, border color, border size, and font without leaving the player. Access it from the settings gear menu.
-
Subtitle settings are now saved — Your subtitle size, position, delay, color, border, and font preferences are remembered across sessions.
-
Download history — The Downloaded videos now remembers your watch history so they show up again after you close.
-
New app settings page — A dedicated Settings view has been added for managing app-wide preferences.
Improvements
-
Completely redesigned player settings menu — The gear menu in the player now uses a clean drill-down panel layout, replacing the old flat dropdown. Audio, Subtitles, Quality, Server, and Subtitle Style each have their own sub-panel.
-
Settings menu now fits its content — The settings menu no longer shows a large blank gap when there are only a few options; it shrinks to fit.
-
Source preference properly saved — Your preferred stream source (Orbit, Fox, etc.) is now correctly remembered when you pick "always use this."
Bug Fixes
-
Fixed subtitle style settings showing wrong defaults — Users who already had settings saved would see incorrect values for subtitle color, border, and font.
-
Fixed subtitle delay not loading on player open — The saved subtitle delay was not being applied when opening the player.
-
Fixed some stream problems - Self explanatory.
-
Fixed "Remember my choice" not working on stream selection — The remember-source preference was not being applied correctly in some cases.
-
Fixed inability to scroll "Because You Watched" row — The horizontal scroll row on the home screen was not scrollable in certain conditions.
