👨‍🏫 About me

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). I am passionate about teaching and applied research in the field of computer science and robotics.

  • 🏫 Teaching: I teach courses related to Computer Engineering, Automation, and Industrial Electronics, such as Computer Structure, Digital Systems, Industrial Vision, Content-based Image Retrieval, and Advanced Perception for Robotics.
  • 🔬 Research: My research focus is on Mobile Robotics (robot localization, SLAM, and loop closure detection), Computer Vision (digital image processing, visual recognition, and 3D reconstruction), and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
