Improve README clarity, fix typo, and add "How It Works" section

Overview

This PR improves the README by enhancing clarity, fixing a typo, and adding a new section to explain how the project works.

• Added "How It Works" section
• Added contributing and screenshots sections

I checked this README diff against main; git diff --check main...HEAD passes and I don’t see the Browse-open typo that appears in #575.

One thing I’d tighten before merge: the new ## Screenshots section currently contains only (Add screenshots of the UI here). Since this PR is linked to the README typo issue, it would be cleaner to either remove that placeholder section or add real screenshots. Otherwise the PR may be broader than #554 needs.

Thanks for the README cleanup. I think this needs narrowing before merge: the Screenshots section currently adds placeholder text, and the PR also changes list formatting throughout the README even though the linked issue is just about a typo. Suggest removing the placeholder screenshots section and keeping the diff to concrete wording fixes only.
