… the web The web sandbox blocks cdn.playwright.dev, so the hook patches setup to skip the Playwright Chromium gate before running ./setup --no-prefix. Browser-driving skills (/browse, /qa, /design-review) won't work in the sandbox; methodology skills (/office-hours, /review, /ship, /autoplan, etc.) will. Hook is gated on $CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE so it's a no-op for local CLI installs.
Adds bin/brief-snapshot — a Mac-side script that spawns headless Claude Code, has it call gcalcli + Granola MCP locally, and writes a structured JSON snapshot to .brief-data/snapshot.json which gets pushed to this private repo. Web Claude Code's SessionStart hook pulls the snapshot, and the /brief skill now prefers the snapshot when live tools aren't available (web sandbox case). Includes docs/BRIEF_WEB_SETUP.md with one-time setup + optional launchd plist for auto-refresh at 7am weekdays.
