This all started when I was in high school. I wanted to send messages to Messenger for announcements, reminding myself automatically by a task which will ring my phone as a notification, and when I wanted to ask for someone's update.

Sadly, these tools do not exist. (At least, I am not aware of.)

So I decided to make a program myself. Hopefully, helping the same people who encounter the same problems as I did.

Getting Started

These are the instructions on setting up AutoMessenger on your computer.
To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

You must have Python installed inside your computer.
Python can be downloaded here

Just pick the OS you are in.

Installation

1. Clone the repo

• If you are using Windows and does not have git installed, then head to my repository. Click code. Then Download ZIP and Extract it on your local computer.

• You can also clone my repository using git

  git clone https://github.com/hevody/AutoMessenger.git

2. Install the Python libraries modules needed from requirements.txt

   pip install -r requirements.txt

Usage

In order to run the program, click on messenger_autosender.bat
For more efficient use, I recommend to put your browser in full screen or half window since the program needed a particular coordinate in order to type the messages.
You can also tweak this setting on the source code.

Roadmap

There are many things I wanted to accomplish in this program, and this program is still on its beta stage.

• plan to use selenium
• add csv or json for multiple accounts
• add specific messages
