The type of credentials assigned during initialization has been changed to "google.auth.credentials.Credentials".
The credentials that users assign to BaseAPI come in a variety of types, including Application Default Credentials and Impersonated Credentials.
These credentials inherit from google.auth.credentials.Credentials.
