Low risk. Symbolic-link leaves, repository-directed directory links that escape the selected repository, replaced files, FIFOs, and other non-regular inputs are rejected without blocking. Existing literal text, selected regular files outside the repository, trusted external directory aliases, bulk prompts, and platform-specific path behavior remain unchanged.
