This script uses git and the gh cli to find authors starting from the most recent tag sorted by version order. If anyone is missing, it adds them to .authors.yml
The script has no dependencies besides Python, but if it were to be included in rever, we would probably want to make it an entry-points script. If the authors task failed, then rever could grow a hook to call this script.
