The Render plugins (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) connect to the hosted MCP server with a pre-registered OAuth client id, so plugin users complete Render OAuth instead of pasting an API key. Update the render-mcp, render-debug, render-deploy, render-monitor, and render-migrate-from-heroku skill docs to describe the plugin OAuth path while keeping API-key setup for manual and other clients.
